Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Waypoint Inc. governing access to LEGION, the quest portal, and any World Pass experience. Last updated 30 May 2026.
01Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (Terms) form a binding agreement between you and Waypoint Inc. (Waypoint, we, or us) and govern your access to and use of the LEGION website, quest portal, communications, and any World Pass, card, mint, or claim experience (the Services). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Services if you are located in, or are a resident or national of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you appear on any applicable sanctions or prohibited-party list. Access may be further limited by region, supply, and compliance review.
03Accounts and authentication
Access to the portal requires an account through our authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in and connected accounts secure and for all activity under your profile, and for providing accurate information and keeping it current.
04Waitlist, quests, ranks, and referrals
The portal lets you complete quests to earn experience (XP), rank, streaks, and referral rewards. These mechanics exist to measure genuine interest and reputation ahead of a mint. We may add, change, re-weight, pause, or reset quests, points, ranks, referrals, and leaderboards at any time, and we may correct or reverse any reward we reasonably believe was obtained unfairly.
05No guarantee of allocation or mint
Rank, XP, whitelist status, and referral standing do not constitute a promise, guarantee, or contractual right to any World Pass, allocation, mint slot, card, token, airdrop, or other benefit. Any mint is subject to final terms, supply, technical readiness, eligibility, and legal review, and may be delayed, changed, or cancelled at our discretion.
06World Pass, cards, and on-chain assets
Any World Pass, card pack, or related asset, if launched, will be governed by the specific terms presented at that time. Digital collectibles are offered for access, collection, and gameplay; acquiring or holding one does not grant equity, ownership of intellectual property beyond any license we expressly provide, an expectation of profit, or any stake in Waypoint.
07Crypto and NFT risk
Blockchain assets are volatile and carry significant risk. On-chain transactions are generally irreversible, network and gas conditions are outside our control, and you are solely responsible for your wallet, private keys, and decisions. Do not participate with funds you cannot afford to lose. Nothing in the Services is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
08Acceptable use
You agree not to: create multiple or fake accounts; use bots, scripts, or automation to farm points or engagement; manipulate referrals, leaderboards, or quests; impersonate others; access accounts or systems you are not authorised to use; introduce malware; scrape the Services except as expressly permitted; or use the Services for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in reversed rewards, suspension, or permanent loss of access without compensation.
09Communications and anti-scam
Official communication comes only from the verified LEGION X account and the in-portal feed. We will never message you first or ask you to sign, verify, or connect a wallet through an unsolicited message. You are responsible for confirming that any link or request genuinely originates from us.
10Intellectual property
The Services — including the LEGION name, art, lore, card designs, and software — are owned by Waypoint or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly allowed.
11Third-party services
The Services rely on and link to third parties — including Clerk, Cloudflare, Kit, Mux, Meta, X, and blockchain networks. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
12Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any mint will occur.
13Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waypoint and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or digital assets, arising from or relating to the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred US dollars.
14Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Waypoint and its team from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, including for suspected abuse or breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
16Changes
We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
17Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
